Trump's base is outnumbered by Americans 2:1

Let me guess...DEMOCRATS are still relying on polls (the ones that tell them what they want to hear).

:rofl2:

half of america does not vote. they are irrelevant, they might as well be invisible, only useful for your participation trophey, has nothing to do with power or politics because politics is all about asserting your will. if you have opinions on your side but no one motivated to do anything, then it might as well be nothing. trump has half of the electorate. you can keep your invisibles.

DEMOCRATS still haven't learned

Probably not this time. He depended on the independent and women’s vote. I think he has lost both, but it’s still a long way out and we haven’t seen the other candidates, yet.

I doubt if Trump comes anywhere close to half the electorate, especially now.... but agree with you 100% about the rest. If you don't vote, you have no say.

Your profile avatar reminds me of that Quaker oats box. Good to see you getting your fiber.

trump has half of the electorate.

as in used to have a little less than that half of the electorate

he had something like 95% of registered Republican votes in the bag on election day......now?.........check the polling for the past 12-18 months, not even in the same ball park

There is one polling category in which independents still overwhelmingly side with Republicans.....and it is one that plays right up Trump's alley---they oppose political correctness. There are about a 13% more independents than there are democrats and 15% more than republicans. Nobody wins without independents.

fantastic grammar there champ

fact is, Americans outnumber Trump's base 2:1

wake up white man

Well, if that's true, here's your chance to eliminate us once and for all.
Let's get it on. But we know you'll be in the back hiding behind your protest sign.

That isn't exactly true. And it is borne out by fact, not supposition

In 2004 John Kerry won independents but lost the election
In 2012 Mitt Romney won independents but lost the election

Does this mean that independents are unimportant? No and that is not what I am saying. What it does say is that if you haven't shored up your political base winning independents doesn't matter. Kerry and Romney were never truly accepted by the party base.

So the belief that all you have to do is win independents and you win elections is a fallacy pushed by political consultants who proclaim their expertise at getting the independent vote.

Trump's supporters are Americans destroyed by racism, ignorance, the lack of a decent health service or proper education and the political legacy of Senator McCarthy's reign of terror. They have been brainwashed into failing to look after their own interests political and voting instead for a shambling, incompetent may-be-rich con man instead, on the grounds that he hates all those who are superior to himself (i.e. the vast majority).
