Trump's approval with Republicans rose by 5 points after his racist tweets

I think the reason is that leftists actually believe that the echo chamber they create for themselves is how everyone else thinks. It's like wallowing in denial and then being shocked when the outcomes are different from what they convinced themselves it would be.

It is strange and has been elevated with Trump's election. It will be exacerbated when Trump wins re-election. Just read the laughable nonsense on this forum.

Here's a thought nightmare:

Imagine if Bernie, Harris, or Warren got elected and we had a super majority of dims in the house and senate.

We'd have...

Open borders
Free comprehensive health care for everybody in the world that crosses our borders
Free college
All student loans forgiven
Reparations for all blacks paid for by whites in the form of free down payments and closing costs for housing
Subsidies for those “unwilling” to work
Green new deal

Look at it that way and it's truly scary.

It would be; that's why I don't see that happening any time soon. MOST Americans do no agree with the Democratic Party of the Jackass when the FACTS are known.

Exactly who the fuck is for open borders? What is scary, is what rightys believe.
The sooner we go whole hog alternative energy the better off we will be. It is the energy and technology of the future. Tha atavistic Repus are doing short and long term damage to America. China is seizing solar, wind and nuclear for themselves. They are working on new technology and refining existing We are arguing over how the Repubs can slash regulation on an old and dirty industry.
Universal healthcare is cheaper, much cheaper. Our healthcare is rated the worst of industrial countries and is by far the most expensive. Fixing it will be a great benefit to America.
Our education system is looting us. Until the last 20 or 30 years, education was affordable. Mist people could go for higher education and pay for it with a part time job. Now we take out educational mortgages that haunt us for most of our lives. It stops many from beginning a productive life.

Thanks for this thread StoneByStone,

Seems like good news for Trump, right? Nope.

"The poll found that about 30% of independents supported Trump, dropping from roughly 40% last week."

Elections are decided by Independents.

Whoopee do.

Those who had already planned to vote for him in 2020 will still do so.

Those who had already planned to vote against him in 2020 will still do so.

Those in the middle who had tentatively supported him are moving away from him.

Oh darn.

The electric vehicle revolution is coming, but it won’t be driven by the U.S. Instead, China will be at the forefront.

My research on EVs, dating back a decade, convinces me that this global transformation in mobility, from petroleum-fueled vehicles to electric ones, will come sooner than later. The shift is already happening in China, which is the world’s largest automobile market, with 23 million cars sold in 2018. As Western countries approach peak car ownership, there are still hundreds of millions of Chinese families that don’t own a car at all – much less two or more.

Many of them are buying electric cars. By 2015, electric vehicle sales in China had surpassed U.S. levels. In 2018, Chinese sales topped 1.1 million cars, more than 55% of all electric vehicles sold in the world, and more than three times as many as Chinese customers had bought two years earlier. U.S. electric vehicle sales that year were just 358,000.

Harris, Warren. Maybe more. Biden doesn't really say what he's for in 2019. He seems to be using the hrc strategy to not really, sort of commit approach. Probably smart. He's trying to be the nominee of an insane far left party.
Bernie's not. Those are the 4 that have a realistic chance, IMO.

How will that work for Airbus A380s and Boeing 747s?

I am amused that leftists don't know how electricity is generated and how much energy it takes to make a batteries large and powerful enough to move cars and trucks.

Enforcing existing laws is scary?

As much as I don't like Lisa Murkowski she's got the most realistic attitude for an alarmist. You're crazy.

Too bad you never saw my plan which I called Moosecare - universal healthcare. Most politicians are too stupid to understand it. And it's not medicare for all.

Ever heard of the GI Bill?

I think he was the only one sorta drafted into the game & he started out on top-on everyone's radar-bulls eye on his back so that prob is a good strategy to get to the nom....

IMHO the trick for him will be staying on top & avoiding making promises that will be thrown in his face in a general election........

Odd that we have a system that forces politicians to pander to the fringe in these "shithole" states in order to get the nom..... No offense to ppl living in shithole states..lol

Biden is the worst choice!

Why is he unelectable??

Who is your choice??

Out of the 25 or more it is hard to distinguish much during these debates but no obvious/charismatic figure has risen above the pack~including him....

Open borders is a republican theme. No serious Dems are for it. Just a red boogieman. Private health insurance has to go. It is looting Americans and providing bad healthcare. The system is terrible. Get real ill and the fact of what insurance companies are doing will cure your love of our system. Insurance companies add cost and complexity while they fight providing the care you paid for.
Reparations is another red flag the Repubs are flying. It will not happen.,

I don't know a single person in favor of reparations other than media ppl who use it as a scary talking point. The (R)s need another bogeyman. Abortion isn't going to work for them this time around; they got their conservative majority in the USSCt and still haven't overturned Roe v Wade. Immigration and scary diseased brown ppl is always a favorite. They had two years to come up with a plan to fix that problem, and didn't. Because they NEED a bogeyman.

I disagree about private insurance. I say we keep it in a much-subjugated form, with a universal health care plan for all. Ppl would be free to buy a supplemental plan from private insurers, and employers would be free to offer it as well.
