Trump's apology tour starts early!

I was wrong, I thought he was going to capitulate. Instead he doubled down.

It will be interesting how it plays, not sure vote wise which would have been smarter.

I think it was back in the Spring when Trump went to speak in front of AIPAC---a potentially hostile environment. And he not only got out of it without tripping over himself but it was actually a really good speech that got accolades from some of the liberal Jews in the audience.

And I think it was the first time he used the TelePrompTer.

His many partisan or ideological critics will never admit it, but there's an upside with Trump that is totally non-existent with Hillary. It's one of the reasons I've stuck with him [that and The Disaster in Waiting on the otherside] through his many gaffes and missteps.

it was a solid step-step speech. Not every point can be absolutely clear -some of each 10 steps depend on how the prior steps go.
But it is a very clear outline, much better then I've heard from anyone.

He has locked in his already locked in base and has alienated the rest of the world.
He loves to play to his racist base with fear and foreboding. It makes him feel good to hear them cheer for his racist, bigoted rhetoric.
To hear his speech the only problem the country is facing is illegal immigration.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
 
Trump is building a very strong base, but I don't see how that helps him in the election since the base is clearly a minority of voters.

Maybe he can pick up enough non-base votes, but I don't see how a speech like that helps him do it.

Hillary has a clear plan.....she intends to bring in more illegal aliens than Obama did.......gotta love liberal solutions.....

I would have, that's the position he's put himself in, no win unless voters have short memory or are very flexible.
