Trump's 1st real proposal: massive infrastructure-rebuilding stimulus

"Who do you think pays corporate taxes?" #46
Which corporations do you think pay taxes?

Are you aware it's been widely reported that Trump paid $zero federal income tax for years?

You believe that and you're even dumber than we first imagined.

Trump lowers the corporation tax and all the corporations will do is keep the savings as another bonus for the CEO.

The rich will continue to get richer and the rest of us get to GFO.

Oh do shut up, you just don't have a clue!

What about the overseas cash? Apple CEO Tim Cook said in December last year that he would "love to" repatriate the funds, but that he can't because "it would cost me 40%." The 40% refers to what Apple would owe in combined U.S. federal and state taxes. But Trump's plan states that "It will provide a deemed repatriation of corporate profits held offshore at a one-time tax rate of 10%.

It's hard to imagine Cook and other corporate leaders would not see the appeal in a 30-percentage point reduction in the repatriation tax. Combined with a business tax rate of 15%, down 20 percentage points, companies may soon have the financial freedom they need to compete globally

Not in the least. That's one prediction I got right. In this election those who have been left behind by the 21st century transactional economy have spoken loud and clear and they aint happy.

If Trump wants to succeed as President his first order of business will be putting asses in jobs that pay better than just a living wage. Public works is the best known, time tested and proven method to get that done.

Right on the problem, wrong on the solution. That's the solution that FDR and Hussein The Obama came up with and both were fails. One extending the Great Depression for ten years (would have been longer if not for WW2) and the other extending the Great Recession for nearly 8.

The best solution is to unleash the private sector by cutting corporate taxes and streamlining regulation. We have huge trade deficits and those point to the areas of the economy that need to be focused on: manufacturing and energy. This solves multiple problems at once: reducing the deficit, reducing public assistance, increasing our energy and manufacturing independence, increasing tax revenues (from people who work). The secondary effects of all this are just as important: less money to our enemies in the Mid-east and less global influence of our debtors.

His first day in office, he vowed to undo all of Obama's executive orders. That removes the Fed min wage that Obama set at app. $10/hr.

Are we going to see him enforce his extreme Right wing promises, or are we going to see him move Left?

They are only "extreme right" because you say so. I so wish you were intelligent; but then, you wouldn't be a liberal.

And....I can't wait to see how he acts w/respect to the major conflict(s) of interest he has with Trumpco?

....yet you could care less about the conflict of interest when it comes to influence peddling through the Clinton foundation. Cry harder. ;)

I bet you stupidly think that corporations pay taxes don't you? :rofl2:

Reaganomics crashed the S&Ls.

That is an outright lie and yet, you keep unashamedly repeating it. Why are Liberals such liars?

Tax cuts do not create jobs.

Do you stupidly think that tax increases create them??? :rofl2:

If you give the average middle class family $400 as Bush did,and give the wealthy millions, it does nothing to create jobs.

It isn't the Governments money to "give." It is incredibly moronic when people think that by allowing the Government to confiscate more of our collective wealth, this will somehow translate to good paying jobs. It is obvious that Liberals are economically ignorant and really need to get more educated how the REAL world operates.

Demand creates jobs. Tax cuts create deficits.

This is another massive lie; what is it that compels liberals to be such outright liars? Historically, there has NEVER been a long term revenue loss after tax reductions; in fact, revenues keep going up. We have NEVER had a REVENUE problem, but rather, a SPENDING problem.

For the second time...how do you reduce spending while increasing infrastructure spending?

What infrastructure spending do you believe is not going to occur if we do not raise taxes? Do you stupidly believe that we have a REVENUE problem? The FACTS do not support such emotional hysterics.

I am amused that Liberals continue to think that useless minimum wage laws make things better for low wage earners or create jobs.

Tell us about the 28% of republicans in Florida voted for Hillary?

You are wrong about everything. You must first bow at our feet admitting how wrong you were then we can take you seriously.

I don't think he'll do it. It might make the business elites in the GOP happy but I'm reasonably sure, given their hostility towards him during the election, and given where his major support has come from that he doesn't do that.

Right now it's dangerous to make any assumptions. The old coalitions are dead. I'm sure that the GOP establishment is clapping their hand in glee thinking they easily manipulate and manage Trump like a circus monkey. I have a sneaky hunch that's not going to happen. The business elites did not put Trump in the White House. Working class whites did and I'm pretty sure he's going to be loyal to them.

It will be an interesting first 6 months. There will be true Conservatives that won't support his deficit spending...even though history shows that Republicans only care about that when a Dem. is in office.

I don't really know what to think of Trump's allegiances with respect to supporters, because he threw so much shit against the wall he can't possibly do 90% of what he promised.

I'll look forward to many months of watching him squirm as he tries to defend/remedy his obvious conflict of interest with Trumpco.

Agreed - and if it's one of his first actions, the GOP Congress will probably even pass it.

It should also be interesting when he repeals Obamacare. He has promised to replace it with "universal healthcare," that the government will pay for.

Weren't they denying it to Obama??

Even after being wrong; you just cannot stop from being wrong again. Yay you! :rofl2:

Apparently you failed history and prefer to engage in outright lying. The reality is that the ONLY Congress in the last four decades to balance a budget was ..... wait for it ....... RPUBLICANS.

I am still waiting for one of you brain dead, economically challenged historically clueless Liberals to find me a war that was ever fought with a SURPLUS. You're too painfully ignorant to comprehend the OBVIOUS.

I don't really know what to think

If you wanted to appear honest, you should have just stopped with this. :rofl2:

Another leftist pile of crap; the one's who threw all the shit on the wall were the morons leading the Democratic Party like Hillary and Obama. We saw how that worked out didn't we shit-for-brains?

Why not move to Cuba so you don't have to suffer? I will gladly help you pack and take up a collection. :rofl2:
