Trump is already whining about the "ridiculous" standard set for the 1st 100 days - clearly, because he knows that he came up FAR short of the expectations that he set himself, every day in the campaign.
Does he think that we're all stupid...that no one remembers?
Throughout his campaign, all we heard was what he was going to get done on "Day One," as well as the 1st 100 days. He even put together a "100 day plan," and put it on the ballot!
""On Nov. 8th, Americans will be voting for this 100-day plan to restore prosperity to our country, secure our communities and honesty to our government. This is my pledge to you. And if we follow these steps, we will once more have a government of, by and for the people. And importantly, we will make America great again. Believe me." October, 2016, Gettysburg, PA
Now, if there is one thing we know about Trump, it's that when he says "Believe me," don't. And remember how low cost healthcare for everyone was going to be "so easy" (before "who knew it was this complicated"), and getting Mexico to pay for a wall was "so simple," and how they were going to make "such big deals"?
Trump has redefined empty campaign rhetoric. "Believe me." Does anyone still believe anything that this guy says?
