After reading DA Bragg’s indictment of Trump and accompanying statement of facts, I’m stunned any prosecutor would move forward with this. It’s even flimsier than we were led to believe. Thirty-four stacked counts, bootstrapped to an unstated crime, to manufacture felony charges.
The distinction here with Clinton is that we are jumping in the time machine to time travel back to the 20th century to track down a Democrat to complain about. I think in the year 2023, a Democratic politician who was known to have had an affair with a junior staff member, as well as at least one other affair earlier would stand very little chance of winning the Democratic nomination.
