Trump needs clarity like a traveler in the desert needs an oasis. Badly.It's why I still will not support him.

But yeah, Trumps propensity to speak from the cuff gets him trouble, but it's also one of the reasons people like him. They're tired of the TelePrompTer and prepared statements garnered from focus groups. Trump is a breath of fresh air in that regard. So you take the good with the bad. But as I pointed out, he did clarify that he was speaking in reference to Muslim immigration on his web page. A Muslim mayor from Europe, not so much.

At any rate, why did Khan so quickly insert himself into our domestic politics? Doesn't London have pot holes that need tended to lol? Does he have some sort of agenda?

Also, the world will be watching how he manages London's Muslim issue.

For one thing this all started with Obama wanting 65,000 Syrian refugees, when the vetting process is obviously not in place to do it.

Trump COULD HAVE SAID "no Syrian refugees until/unless we have true vetting" - which is common sense.
But he goes to a "ban on MUslims" which is probably unconstitutional/not needed/and politically dead.

Same with the "deporations" ( of 13,000,000?) -build the wall instead, I'm fine with that.

His emotionalism is fine during the primary,it'sot going to work in the general.
And quit getting into 1990'swar on women with Clinton -it's stupid and counter-productive,,

Does this guy even have a campaign manger???

I haven't been following London -it's London's problem/solution. It's not even a blip on the radar here.
To your point though -Trump needs an off switch.. And he needs nuance..He needs to be a serious dude at least some of the time.

The ban on Muslims is happening. Americans are shedding the idiocy of political correctness. It's not just Syrians that are the problem. So your solution is not sufficient.

Exposing Hillary's war on bills sex crime victims is actually political gold. Much hay will be successfully made.

first off there is no "Muslim immigration" problem. Immigration is complex -VISA overstays are big, but the idea ISIS is somehow sneaking sleeper cells in here
isn't happening.
Of course there was San Bernandino, but it's going to happen in a huge country like ours. Compare that to the real problems of Europe.
One big difference is our ability to assimilate, where as Europe just doesn't do it well.

Look at the downside of banning Muslim immigration -how do you even do it? Do you have religious police?
It's a problem in search of a solution..

Look I'm not a fan of Clinton and identity politics at all - it's demeaning/stupid/and divisive,,but unfortunately it's effective
fo brain dead masses who vote on identity instead of ideas.
The way you win that as a Republican is to show you also care about the "groups" -but you so from a wider position of "Americanism"
American first,and Make American Great are his themes. Appeal to that.

Voters like myself who are basically centrists and tired of federal over-reach are getting tired of Trump anger too,
Clinton? forget her. She's got an electoral advantage but high negatives too. Forget trying to jam up her negatives
and instead increase Trumps populism instead, but do it on big themes
