Well for once you've actually said something sensible!!If Rump is smart he will now cut out the Freedon Caucus and get a better, more liberal, healthcare bill passed with Democrat cooperation. If he could build a center coalition leaving out the extremes he would likely very easily get reelected.

Just repeal Obamacare. Unless the GOP wants their voters to stay home in 2018

You are assuming that healthcare was the number one reason for that flawed bill.If Rump is smart he will now cut out the Freedon Caucus and get a better, more liberal, healthcare bill passed with Democrat cooperation. If he could build a center coalition leaving out the extremes he would likely very easily get reelected.
Yep. It addresses a lot of what I've been saying...fairly accurately. This was about getting rid of taxes that would help further cuts later.Damn good article in the Telegraph, really cuts to the heart of the matter.

it's not going to happen. Trump is learning DC politics-there are no friends- just apportioning blame.
Obamacare is popular enough for now. It's got got design flaws though and the partisan blame game lands on the Dems
try putting that into a political talking point..lolWishful thinking on your part.
Trump and the Republicans swore to the voters that they would repeal and replace.
It is now glaringly obvious to everyone that those were just empty campaign promises designed to play upon and exploit for political gain, the anger and frustration of the American people at a system we all know is massively unfair to people of modest means.
IOW, most people.
Glaringly obvious as well, is the fact that Trump and the GOP knew damned well they wouldn't be able to repeal Obamacare, or at least, not replace it with something better. There is no perfect solution to the problem. Anything that gets created is going to cost somebody somewhere.
The left says it's more fair (or less unfair) to have the bulk of that cost borne by those who can afford it the most because they HAVE the most and the cost will have a negligible effect on the quality of their lives. The right says unfair is unfair and nothing else matters. Then they double down by trying to hand out tax breaks for these very same wealthy people, the fairness to whom they are trying to protect, in order to make them even wealthier and even MORE able to afford to shoulder the bulk of the burden of a health care system which they will not be asked to shoulder anyway.
Democrats' concern lies with human beings and increasing the quality of life.
Republicans' concern lies with WEALTHY human beings and increasing their wealth so that THEY can be the ones who enjoy quality lives and good luck to everyone else.
Then they'd lose the support of moderate Republican voters who happen to like their current health care.
They're fucked either way!!!!![]()
