Sorry kid, but you played a weak hand, as I'm 67 years old and was a VERY appreciating young black man of his doing REAL "black humor" that I heard at every family and relative gathering functions and holidays. I understood all too well where he was coming from. I was also aware of Redd Foxxe prior to his TV fame, Scoey Mitchell, Godfrey Cambridge prior to his "Cotton Comes to Harlem" fame, etc. MY POINT HERE is that excessive inaccurate usage evolves into inane posturing.

My late mom grew up in Wilmington, NC ... her rule was that in her house everyone should make a strong effort NOT to use "nigger" to describe each other as, "We (ALL black Americans) are not niggers". My uncles just blew her off as "Oh please, you know what we mean". But I noticed my grandparents and their friends didn't use the word.

Pryor's self-revelation was what it was. Gratuitous use just to piss off bigots and racists hasn't really worked out all that well, as those imbeciles just trundle on using the false narrative that "if you can use it, I have the freedom of speech to use it to", then pretend no one understands the difference of intent.

Now I know I'm just wasting time and space, because you're going to do what you want regardless .... I just wanted you and the readers to know where I stand.
