Trump weighing new, major action against Iran, including regime change - report

US President Donald Trump is considering strikes on Iranian regime leaders and security forces to inspire protesters in the country and create conditions for “regime change,” two American sources familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday morning.

Israeli public broadcaster KAN News also reported earlier on Thursday that Israeli sources believed Trump was indicating a broad action against Iran that would include regime change.

Sources also told CNN that day that the president was again weighing a major strike after talks between the US and Iran had failed to produce results.

The report comes after two sources told The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday that attempts by several countries, including Turkey, Oman, and Qatar, to mediate between Washington and Tehran had thus far not yielded results.

One of the sources said the main message the mediating countries had delivered to Iran was: “Act rationally. Give President Trump something so that war can be avoided.”

I am not seeing the Imperial Empire battle plan anywhere.....Regime Media claims that the braintrust is still trying to decide.....which is possible but not likely.

I suspect that CIA/MOSSAD/Mi6 needed more time......the military assets are ready.

Talking of oil, Kharg island should be one of the first targets to be taken out. The Saudis have said that they won't allow the US to overfly their territory this time. Frankly I doubt that's true but then it doesn't matter anyway, with two carrier groups in place there's more than enough assets in position already.

For all who yap that this is all about strangling China I remind you that the decision to destroy Iran was made decades before anyone was worried about China. For instance Iran was on a list from the late 90's from the Zionist Bastards of 7 nations that had to be destroyed to make way for Greater Israel because they supported Palestinian rights. IRAN is the last to be dealt with.....and there are plenty in the Empire who are upset that it has taken this long.

China is one of many excuses the people get told now....fuck them....they dont matter....we are not now suddenly be told the truth.
