Re: the OP, I think trump is terrified. I think the screws are tightening in the Mueller investigation, that it's getting closer to home, and that trump is throwing everything out there to try and deflect.

Renewed lying about the Access Hollywood tapes, the birther conspiracy, the thinly-veiled suggestion that Scarborough was involved in murder, Hillary's emails, re-tweeting the anti-Muslim videos, etc.

Bad enough when taken one by one but look at this as a whole. Only the most rabid trump fan can excuse this as "trump being trump." I think he's scared spitless about Flynn cooperating with Mueller.

And for the critics, yes this may turn out to be 100% wrong, but it's my opinion so deal with it.
