While Donald Trump has often singled out Mexico and China as particularly serious threats to U.S. trade and defense, his attitude toward Russia and its dictatorial leader Vladimir Putin seems to be in a class by itself.

And that is making many world leaders nervous.

In a long story published late Friday, The Washington Post details a marriage of flattery and gifts that go back years between the presumptive GOP presidential candidate and the Russian strongman.

That story reveals that since the 1980s, Trump has made numerous trips to Moscow looking for business deals with Russian moguls, and he has relied on Russian investors to buy his properties around the world.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul said Trump’s relationships with Putin and other Russian oligarchs "makes everyone I talk to around the world nervous — and it makes me nervous as well."

:rofl2: The leftist meltdown over PRESIDENT Trump is delightful.

you wont weather these facts for long putin ponies

The Clintons have deep ties to Russia, specifically how in 2010 then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton approved the sale and transfer of 20% of U.S. uranium output to the Russian government:

The uranium deal, in which Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State signed off and approved the sale of a Canadian company to the Russian government — Rosatom, the State Atomic Energy Corporation — that was allowed to purchase a company called Uranium One. Hillary Clinton approved that deal as Secretary of State. But the small Canadian company, Unrianub One, that was sold, was owned by shareholders who are huge contributors to the Clinton Foundation. In fact, $145 million went to the Clinton Foundation from nine shareholders in Uranium One.

Also, Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta secured "75,000 common shares" from his membership on the executive board of an energy company, Joule Unlimited, which received $35 million from a Putin-connected Russian government fund.

When it comes to Russian ties and Russian financial ties, you have to begin with the Clintons.

Why do you hate Democracy, Desh?

RUSSIA IS NOT OUR ENEMY

Even obama smugly said so in the 2012 debate vs. mitt romney!

Now all of a sudden they are so terrible?

I LOVE GLORIOUS MOTHERLAND

WHERE THE FUCK IS IVAN!?!?

Isn't amazing how little the lefties remember from four years ago?

Remember Hillary's Russian Reset? Remember Obama and his snarky comment to Romney during the debates?

Bottom line is the democrats fails. They were so assured of victory that they couldn't contemplate for one single solitary second that she could lose. It never even crossed their minds. Oh they might say it as a throw away line, but they never internalized it. You can tell by their reactions to the election. It took KKKhristiefan a long time to come back and show her face. Rana has yet to reappear or I have just missed her nonsense. Zipperhead stayed away during the returns.

Rest assured if Hillary had won, the crowing by the left would be incessant. But, now they act like petulant little children who didn't get the toy they wanted at Christmas and now decide to tear down the decorations. Well fuck em. We had to stand by while Obama rammed legislation down our throats, now they can see how it feels.

I bet Ruth Bader Ginsberg is wishing she had retired sooner

All I can say to lefties is this. KARMA IS A BITCH. SUCK IT

can't wait to get some conservative supreme court justices. mm tasty.

My guess is the left won't put up too much of a fight over Scalia. It would be stupid of them to do so because it simply replaces one conservative with another. Where they will lose their ever loving minds is when it comes time to replace Ginsberg, Breyer and Kennedy.

Here is what I hope happens. I hope Trump does four years and then steps down. Leaving it open for Pence to run. Pence wins, then serves two terms. That assures us of a 6-3 court. Sotomayor, Kagan and Roberts. Roberts will show his true colors and turn lefty now. But, as long as we have six solid Alito types, it won't matter. We can truly transform this country from the bench.

That is what really scares the left is the court.

I want another textualist like Scalia. it's ingenious and apparent at the same time

Textualism is a method of statutory interpretation whereby the plain text of a statute is used to determine the meaning of the legislation. Instead of attempting to determine statutory purpose or legislative intent, textualists adhere to the objective meaning of the legal text

One now and maybe 3 more, seeing as some of the current ones are pretty old and not in the best of health.
He should appoint really young ones, so they could be there for like 40 years or more. :D

The uranium deal was debunked too many times to count. But I have to hand it to cons who will close their minds in order to keep it going in perpetuity.

So whats your point ?....I'm sure many many businessmen dealt with Russia and China 35 years ago...perfectly legal...nothing sinister unless you've got actual proof of something instead of conjecture, opinion and guess work....

so the point is.....in reality, you have no point
