Trump to scrap protection for 'Dreamers,' give Congress six months to fix

If he wants to replace it, I'm curious as to what exactly will change. Like will there even be a point to getting rid of it in the first place?

Trump wants to repeal it congress wants it to stay. The point of the whole thing is congress will actually have to pass a law, and answer to their voters for said law, like they should have done in the first place.

Ahoy, Sailor Boi.

Unless you think the articles I cited in my links and all the facts therein are just my "fucked in the head opinion", you lose, unless you can refute each expert assessment listed.

:rofl2:

None of those links refute anything on this subject. Nothing. Did you bother to read them? Can you read? Like I said, nothing but your fucked in the head opinion. Meaningless, just like you.

I notice that none of the lawbreaker-loving liberals in this thread thought that The Obama did anything wrong when he circumvented Congress with his Executive Order.

I also took note of the fact that they seem to be unaware that there was bipartisan Congressional support for defunding DACA in 2013.

:rofl2:

Ahoy, Sailor Boi.

Prove it. :rofl2:

Obviously you cannot or you would have posted legitimate links refuting the findings that a majority of Americans want DACA to stay the way it is. You cannot. Like always. Hence your pussified, limpwristed responses to everything. No wonder peaceful liberal protestors made you shit yourself in Boston. You are nothing other than little faggot hiding behind a keyboard.

All Republicans want all brown skinned illegals deported en mass, except none of them want their off the books nanny, gardener or any of those nice brown skinned people they actually just happen to know to be deported.

All the ones they don't know are criminals. All the ones they do know are terrific hard workers they've known for 25 years who should be exempt, along with their children. What are the odds of that?

Ahoy, Sailor Boi.

I posted links containing reasons why polls are inconclusive and untrustworthy as a political bellwether.

Since you haven't refuted the information those linked articles contain, you lose.

Let's see some evidence for those allegations.

No polls, though. :rofl2:

i like it. Trump forces congress to pick a side and get of the fence.

What good does that do, the majority of Americans support DACA and with elections soon, Congress will not vote against them.

Not true, honey bunch, but keep spreading your cheap lies.

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) sponsored the amendment to the 2014 Department of Homeland Security spending bill, and called for its passage in late Wednesday debate by saying Obama's orders — also known as the Morton memos — violate the Constitution.

"The point here is the President does not have the authority to waive immigration law, nor does he have the authority to create it out of thin air, and he's done both with these Morton memos in this respect," King said.

King added that while the government has prosecutorial discretion, Obama does not have the authority to create classes of people who are exempt from the law through an executive order.

The House agreed with King and voted in favor of his amendment in a mostly partisan 224-201 vote.
