The US rejected the Kyoto treaty yet by the huge expansion of CCGT power stations fuelled by fracked gas actually reduced CO2 emissions above and beyond the limits set down anyway.

Yes and we need to be involved to get other countries to do the same. Although we are perhaps the biggest polluter on the planet, we have company. And china will be at the table. Too bad the richest country in the world will not be there to pound 👊 fists on the table.

everybody says the world agreed to the climate treaty. Why wouldnt developing countries agree to something that comitted developed nations (i.e. mostly america) into giving them 100 billion dollars a year?

Its like saying most of the world agrees we should get free money.

no were not. In order to consider the US the biggest polluter you have to massage the data and use "per capita" If you just look at pollution itself china does more and its comitment to the treaty was it would cap by 2030 T_T
