There's that. Also, entering into a global treaty based on climate propositions that are way less than certain, is just plain stupid, to be blunt about it.
That is the best argument yet.
Can anyone who thinks its a good idea defend it?
Syria and Nicaragua, too! MAGAIt does not say they are altruistic. Read what I post before you ask me anything. If you aren't in the game you can't win. Exxon wants a seat at the table, a voice. Everyone, including Exxon all the way to the "tree huggers" want in. It's only Trump and his ignorant base of inbred retards and Banon that want out.

Intelligent, Earth loving people.we were never in it.......Obama was, but who cares.....
Thank God he has done the right thing.
now can we move on from this rising sea level warm earth BS already.
it's all about jobs
But, Trump is going a long way to getting re-elected. Coal plants open up in PA and OH, you can rack those in the electoral bank
Intelligent, Earth loving people.
Trump mentioned something. "12 days of emissions from china would wipe out all the gains made by the united states"
I wonder if that is true.
Since Trump said it, it is no doubt an extreme exaggeration.
But the gist of what he said is pertinent. Unless the entire world is unified on it, it won't matter a bit. And unless the plan is cold turkey on emissions, it won't matter a bit. And even if the plan is cold turkey, it won't matter for centuries.
This is a "we've got to do something" measure - but it doesn't really consider what they're trying to accomplish or the consequences. They talk about lowering the global temps like it's baking a cake, and all you need is this ingredient & that quantity to make it happen. It's hard to watch.
Exxon Mobil Corp. and many large American businesses urged Trump to stay in the deal, arguing it would maintain U.S. influence over future talks.
"By remaining a party to the Pars agreement, the United States will maintain a seat at the negotiating table to ensure a level playing field so that all energy sources and technologies are treated equitably in an open, transparent and competitive global market,"
Exxon CEO Darren Woods wrote in a May 9 letter to Trump.
Trump and his America first base are stupid.![]()
