Trump to ban people from 41 countries from travelling to US

Not today. Not a month from now....

I hope I can stick it out here in America, but we will see.
So Ireland isn't better.
Even if things get better, I might still retire to Ireland. It is a nice place to live.
You can't be in two places at the same time, Wally.
To compare two retirement places: Florida has a homicide rate of 7.3 per 100,000. Ireland has a homicide rate 0.65 per 100,000. There is more to safety than just homicide rates, but still Ireland is 11 times safer than Florida.
Do you think someone is out to murder you, Wally??
It must really suck to be so paranoid and helpless.

So Ireland isn't better.
I did not say that. I said, for the time being, I am sticking it out here.

You can't be in two places at the same time, Wally.
Actually, I can live in two places, especially if I retire. I could fly back and forth for a part of the year in both places.

Or I could continue to work here, and then retire there.

The number of options are nearly unlimited.

Do you think someone is out to murder you, Wally??
You know what they say, it is not the bullet with your name on it that you should worry about, but rather the bullet with "whom it may concern" on it.

Florida is warm, and in the USA, but it has a real crime problem. Ireland is a bit more of the type of place that you can leave your front door unlocked, even in a place like Dublin.

I did not say that. I said, for the time being, I am sticking it out here.
Denying your own posts won't work, Wally.
Actually, I can live in two places, especially if I retire.
You cannot be in two places, Wally.
I could fly back and forth for a part of the year in both places.
That's not being in two places, Wally. You'll need visas.
Or I could continue to work here, and then retire there.
You cannot work and retire at the same time, Wally.
The number of options are nearly unlimited.
You are still locked in that paradox, Wally.
You know what they say, it is not the bullet with your name on it that you should worry about, but rather the bullet with "whom it may concern" on it.

Open crime in Democrat run cities is caused by DEMOCRATS, Wally.
Ireland is a bit more of the type of place that you can leave your front door unlocked, even in a place like Dublin.
So is most of the U.S., Wally.

No, I don't. And neither do Democrats.

So then this entire thread is just bullshit, faux outrage by the party of hate that has absolutely nothing to offer.

Good that you recognize the fact.

The trumptards shot down a great chance for immigration reform in order to keep immigration a problem so trump could get elected. Your strawman argument fails.

The democrat open border bill has nothing to do with this. Trump has stopped tourism from hostile and terrorist countries. The democrat open border bill was about importing as many illegal aliens as possible in order to subvert the dominant culture of the USA.

What the fuck are you on about here?

Yes. We're a sovereign country with borders and laws.

We are now. Obama's Biden Junta threw the border wide open - and in fact was flying in illegals - so determined to subvert the nation that they were.

You and your ilk are the only ones who deny laws matter when one of you are in the law's crosshairs. I'm talking about the thousands of J6 rioters and vandals that trump pardoned and you applauded.

ROFL

That's all you have - a 3 hour protest that was far less violent than ANY of the Floyd Riots of your 18 month Kristallnacht.

Oh, no! You're still butthurt about Obama. Yes, he was black and he was elected twice. Get over it!

Hating blacks is what you do - particularly those like Clarence Thomas who dare leave the democrat plantation. I detest Obama because he is a truly evil person and a dedicated Marxist waging war to end the Constitutional Republic - which is the same reason you love him.

The things you seem to not understand are legion.
Hawk, do you have a garage? What about a car? Can you please activate the vehicle and then sit in the garage (all exhaust options closed) until you finally put yourself out of your own misery, you awful, stupid fuck?

I have noticed that several alt right posters will ignore links, and just say all facts are lies. They will include their own links, that do not say anything on the subject they are speaking of. It is sad to watch.

Lie much?
I included CIA World Fact Book's links to backup everything I said. If you think the CIA is lying, bring it up with them. Ireland is famed for doing quite well, so I tend to believe them.

Nothing there contradicts the two links I have below. But I did notice something, their CPI is 1%. We have had a nightmarish time trying to get ours much below 3%. Another Irish win.

Seems like this member was banned for a few hours a few weeks ago, then it was all forgotten with nothing explained.
A temp ban is good for show.

Glaringly, Diogenes is the only person on this forum who has "Most Solutions". There's no way for other people to get this. Why?

Note his subtitle: "Nemo me impune lacessit" - No one provokes me with impunity

Travel bans or restrictions on entry to the United States are not unique to President Donald Trump. Previous U.S. presidents have implemented similar measures, often in response to national security concerns, public health crises, or diplomatic issues.

Here are some notable examples:
  1. Jimmy Carter (1980) - During the Iranian Hostage Crisis, President Carter issued an executive order on April 7, 1980, that invalidated all visas issued to Iranian citizens for entry into the U.S. and prohibited issuing new visas except for humanitarian reasons. This was a targeted restriction aimed at Iran amid heightened tensions after the 1979 Iranian Revolution and the seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran.
  2. Ronald Reagan (1981, 1986) - Reagan imposed travel restrictions on multiple occasions. In 1981, he banned Libyan diplomats and their families from entering the U.S. due to Libya's support for terrorism. In 1986, he suspended entry for Cuban government officials and members of the Cuban Communist Party following deteriorating relations and Cuba’s alignment with the Soviet Union.
  3. George H.W. Bush (1991) - During the Persian Gulf War, Bush imposed restrictions on Iraqi nationals entering the U.S., citing national security concerns as Iraq was considered an adversary.
  4. Bill Clinton (1996) - Clinton signed the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act, which expanded grounds for barring entry to individuals based on affiliations with terrorist organizations. While not a "ban" in the modern sense, it laid groundwork for broader entry restrictions.
  5. George W. Bush (2001) - After the September 11 attacks, Bush’s administration tightened visa policies and implemented the National Security Entry-Exit Registration System (NSEERS), which required special registration for males from predominantly Muslim countries (and North Korea). While not an outright ban, it significantly restricted entry and monitored individuals based on nationality.
  6. Barack Obama (2011, 2015) - In 2011, Obama’s administration slowed Iraqi refugee processing for six months due to concerns about terrorist infiltration, following the arrest of two Iraqi nationals in Kentucky linked to al-Qaeda. In 2015, after the Paris attacks, the Visa Waiver Program was amended to restrict travel from certain countries (e.g., Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Syria) for dual nationals or those who had visited those nations, reflecting security concerns.
Trump’s travel bans, starting with Executive Order 13769 in January 2017 targeted citizens of several predominantly Muslim countries (initially Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen, with later revisions).

While broader and more publicized than some prior actions, they fit into a historical pattern of presidents using executive authority to limit entry for specific groups or nations, often citing national security or public safety.
