I don't know how you Republicans raised your children.
But I raised mine, as my parents raised me, to believe that lying and cheating is wrong, that a man is only as good as his word, that honesty is always the best policy, to become Law-abiding citizens, to help others less fortunate than I was, that crime does not pay, that character matters, that you are judged by the company you keep, to follow the golden rule, to apologize when you are wrong, that name-calling is wrong, to share with others, to be good sports no matter whether you win or lose, that it is always better to give than receive, that bullying is wrong, and that Jesus loved all the people of the world- Red, Yellow, Black, Brown, or White- and so should they.
And, I did my very best to lead by example.
