Trump takes Nevada

I predicted months ago that a significant number of democrats would go Trumps way if he survived to the general. I'm inclined to think Trump's recent eruption about Bush II and Iraq was a calculated overture to the Code Pink crowd. Voting is a very private affair...I wonder how many of them won't vote and tell lol.

It does appear that Trump is trying to rewrite the Electoral College map. Right now, ANY Democrat in the general race gets an automatic 200 Electoral votes just because of the blue state demographics. If Trump turns New York State around (and right now, New York is frantically trying to register illegal aliens to vote) that's the ball game. He does what hasn't been done since Reagan.

We see the same phenomenon with Hillary. You yourself "claim" to be a Bernie supporter, but you couldn't tell by anything you post. Me thinks you are embarrassed about supporting her and will wait until Bernie officially gets ripped off by the democrat party establishment and then you will go all in for Hillary like you were from the start.

My mama always told me that when you are pointing a finger, there are four pointing back at you. Just sayin.

You do know there is a democrat party primary going on right? One candidate is a "democratic socialist" (whatever that means) and the other is under investigation by the FBI yet you think that is boring.

I prefer Bernie, he is more liberal, but I am proud to say I will support HRC if she is the nominee. Not as many conservatives are willing to say the same about Trump.

Trump is less Conservative than HRC is in many ways.

HRC is going to make the general as much about experience as she can.

Expect Television ads with Trumps fat finger on a big red button after having been insulted by a foreign leader.

See the poll thread I started.... more of us admit to being willing to support HRC than Trump.

I agree about the overtures to the far left.

I'll vote for whoever the Republican nominee is and leave pride out of it lol. Cruz was probably the best of the lot in terms of conservatism but he needs something to happen and it probably won't.

Proud to vote for Hillary? Wow, is all can say to that.

She is 1000x more respectable of a choice than Trump.

Which means you don't take a lot of the crap he spouts seriously lol. Neither do I. The big mystery is what lies behind the facade. One thing Trump isn't, is an ideologue. That can be ruled out. He's been all over the lot on many issues. The best hope under a president Trump is he's a pragmatist. In which case, he'd be more like a Bill Clinton than an Obama.

I don't have the fear of Trumps finger being close to The Button that some do because I'm inclined to think actually sitting in the big chair is different than trying to get there. And that goes across the board. I suspect his responses would be more measured and circumspect than candidate Trumps are.

And I could be totally wrong lol.

I agree with a lot of what you say, but... Trump has consistently over many years displayed a egomania and thin skin. To me, it betrays a deeply wounded person who is desperately afraid of others thinking he failed at something. I think when making choices about dealing with radical Islam for example, his personality disorder could lead to poorly advised decisions that have not been well considered and result in things like the quagmire that was the Iraq war.

No one on this board other than Desh claims to support Hillary but you think she's the only one who would vote for her if she's your nominee?

That's my point, more Democrats will vote for HRC if she is the nominee than Republicans who will vote for The Donald if he is the nominee.

And you know this how?

I don't, its a theory, on this board it seems to be true as of today. There are plenty of Democrats here who have no trouble saying they will vote for HRC if she is the nominee. There are quite a few here who wont say and still others who say they will not vote for Trump. I also know two Cons in my personal life who say they will never vote for Trump.

I don't know if that will hold true come November of if it is really a nationwide trend or just my anecdotal observation.

It has not occurred to you that rubio and cruz are lousy candidates? That and almost everyone is fed up with the beltway bandits ?
The sleeping dog woke up.

I don't believe that about those I know.

I'm fairly confident he can't win the votes in our primary- but I'm mystified that he's won in the west and SC.

Why not?

He's got his supporters working the caucuses while wearing "Trump" gear, despite the fact poll workers aren't supposed to show bias.

Others accusing the poll workers of changing votes, giving Trump more.

No one said to be checking voter ID's.

It's chaos in Nevada.

They said on the news vote counters in Nevada can wear clothing supporting their candidate.

The tory quislings here can't believe this is happening. Their carefully-built up image will topple if that nutter is elected - a nutter everyone laughs at as an unsuccessful fart (I take it Americans don't know 'trump' is a genteel euphemism for the latter word)..

Ummm....yes, we do.

There's two ways of looking at having a loose cannon in the WH: yes, it could get us in a quagmire; however, the bad guys are going to have the same fear. Presently, they have little reason to fear us.
