Kinzinger is correct. They want Trump to be a God. They want someone to worship who can do no wrong. All the properties the ancient Jews gave to Jesus.

I think it's more than that.

Trump introduced a style of extreme right-wing conservatism that they've been itching and yearning for, for at least two or three decades.

A style of macho, redneck shithead, "fuck you if you don't like it, shut up and take it because you no longer count or have any rights" style of conservative rule that stomps their view of America down the throats of the "dang 'ol lib'ruls'" and everyone else whose views don't match theirs.

They want to end any and all bipartisanship and see this country run only according to the principles they believe in, that comports with the Bible and their values and nothing else.

I think they without question would support taking away all Constitutional rights of non right-wingers.

They probably envision themselves as being the ruling class with liberals being second class citizens who'd have to take orders from them and be denied higher education or access to high level employment.

Then when their authoritarian leaders started sticking it to them, they'd be poutraged and wouldn't understand how it could have happened.
