Disagreed. Si vis pacem, para bellum points out that deterring opponents from war is the best protection from war.

Consider this scenario: In an instance of civil unrest, a group of 50 neo-nazi pedos decide to attack a neighborhood to steal children to rape. One neighborhood is a "Gun Free Zone" and another one has a bunch of cars with "Keep honking, I'm reloading" bumper stickers and "Support the Second Amendment" signs in their yards. Which one do you think the pedo Nazis will attack?

Sure, on a normal day the cops would do it but if there is civil unrest because of the WSE terrorists, then the police will be busy and neighborhoods will need to hold their own for a day or two.

IMO, better to be safe than sorry. Buy a gun, learn how to use it and encourage your neighbors to do the same to stop the Pedo Nazis and WSE terrorists.
