Wouldn't bother me in the least. With the casks they've designed, spent fuel that has had about a year to decay before storage would be perfectly fine with me. That's just a relatively low-level alpha emitter with a bit of gamma coming out. No big deal. Hell, I could likely get more radiation from lying in my backyard getting a tan every day.Seriously? How would you feel about a nuclear waste depository being put in your backyard?
Much worse is having to do something like this:

This will end up taking up many times the land area spent nuclear waste ever will. Nuclear waste is recyclable if we choose to do so, whereas spent, worn out wind turbine blades aren't and are not biodegradable. Their burial pretty much makes the land they're buried on worthless for any other use.
Solar panels are no better being uneconomical to recycle and largely worthless if recycled.
