I don't remember laughing about that. I still think it's funny today, Russia is not our greatest enemy. They are trying to improve their lot and ability to be an enemy but to copycat the 1980s foreign-policy would be a silly mistake.

Straw man argument. Obama never said they weren't though both Romney and Obama would have been wrong. China is. Russia is #2. Obamas criticism of Romney was that Cold War strategies would not be effective today. Not that Russia was not a grave military threat.

So you can put that canard away.

I'll ask you the same thing I asked ILA. Would you oppose President Trump retaliating against Russia for attempting to interfere with our elections?

Many act as though the hacked/leaked emails were Russian propaganda, when they weren't. They were revelations of truth, regardless the teller. Heads rolled in the DNC, Donna Brazile was caught red handed giving questions in advance, Debbie Washerman Schultz resigned in shame over cheating Bernie Sanders, the entire operation was revealed to be a corrupt quagmire. No he's wrong. China is. Romney did advocate Cold War strategies. Isolating Russia from world events is provocative and dangerous and would probably backfire and create an environment of suspicion and mistrust that could lead to another suicidal nuclear arms race. Something no one wants. So your simply wrong there or I should say Romney was.

All of which is irrelevant as no one is asking for a return to Cold War era policy with its escalating nuclear arms race. Greatest thing Reagan did was kill the Cold War environment by tearing down walls.

What reasonable Americans are asking is what is going to be done about this specific threat?
