It is almost certain the jury will award her, rightly, a multiple on the first award. I think a 10X may be warranted or about $50MM this time.
When you give her $5MM as a way the jury says 'yes she was penetrated in a sexual assault and yes she was defamed by Trump and he must pay for doing that', and he simply says 'i don't give a shit about the money, i will defame her again', then they now know they must push the amount of money up until it, in fact, become a deterrent.

That would be Trump's fault. He went on exactly as he did before. He lied about her in public again. Carroll did nothing to cause this new problem. It was Trump, only Trump.
Why didn't Trump get on the stand and deny it if it didn't happen? In a civil trial, Trump's refusal to testify can be taken into account by the jury. the fault is with Trump if the jury believed her and not him.
