exit polls clearly show Trump performs better across almost every Republican group, including those with college degrees.

The wealthy real-estate wheeler and dealer has won about 34% of the Republican voters with a college degrees, according to exit polls. And 27% of Republicans who hold advanced degrees have voted for him.

No other candidate has outperformed Trump with these groups.

Take Ted Cruz. About 24% of Republican voters with college degrees have pulled the lever for him. He’s also gotten support from 21% of voters with postgraduate degrees.

Even those numbers are a bit inflated because Cruz scored lopsided margins with college-educated voters in his home state of Texas.

Altogether, some 52% of Republicans who’ve voted so far graduated from college, with 19% holding postgraduate degrees.
