Donald Trump’s diehard MAGA fans are irritated by his recent statement on the passing of former President Jimmy Carter.

“The challenges Jimmy faced as President came at a pivotal time for our country and he did everything in his power to improve the lives of all Americans. For that, we all owe him a debt of gratitude,” Trump wrote. “Melania and I are thinking warmly of the Carter Family and their loved ones during this difficult time. We urge everyone to keep them in their hearts and prayers.”

MAGA responses:

“Lol, I know you’re being nice. But you’re tripping,” replied an account called Theodore Winters. “Carter was a terrible president and damaged The United States Of America to such an extent that we are STILL dealing with his horribly policy decisions and his inflation repercussions in 2024.”

An account called Commieskillpuppies noted that the president-elect’s words wouldn’t have any political value. “I appreciate your graciousness toward him but it won’t win you any points from the leftists,” the user wrote. “They’re soulless.”

No. I don't think Trump is able to write that kind of unifying political rhetoric.

But that is why Trump as President ( or any good President! , Not Biden BTW ) is a Government Construct, a TEAM, and not a man. Oh, Obama, Biden, and Trump have all been people who have filled the role of human in office, but the actions, words, and principles of those Presidents was a team effort.

The last American President who was a one man show, was George Washington.

We fought the War of Independence to get rid of "Kings".

I generally do not catch spelling mistakes or care, as long as the meaning is clear, but she thinks its important and that she is above spelling issues.

I rarely comment on spelling or grammar mistakes either, but she claims she was a teacher. She can't write. I think it's important to expose fraud.

That's simply not true...;) I rarely edit someone else's words here because its obvious... and ok...that not everyone takes the time to edit. We all make mistakes...But that one was special...

I see you visited the tribute thread...there are a lot of classless people here... But President Trump’s tribute was lovely... Joe tried to read what was written for him But he got distracted....it was sad... I'm not sure they will ask Joe to speak at the services for President Carter... If they do it Should be just a very short prayer...

Wow, I just watched the beginning . I couldn’t understand half of what he was trying to say.
He’s almost completely incoherent.
Not to mention the almost complete lack of energy.
And he actually regrets dropping out thinking he could’ve won. !??!

It was very Hard to watch...I sympathize with him. He's not been well for quite some time... I do not sympathize with those who tried to hide his condition and lied about it....
