Trump Organization found criminally liable in Manhattan tax-fraud trial

I know the J6 Committee is talking about recommending charges but it's as yet unknown who.

It's a travesty of justice that twump's still walking free. More secret docs were recently discovered in one of his storage areas. Our DOJ is full of unqualified pussies.

You're free to believe she's a criminal mastermind, I'm free to believe she's simply a crooked politician. Slick on the outside, still a backwoods hillbilly on the inside.

Well, they have to be more than extremely careful about prosecuting a former President.

The slightest, tiniest oversight or slip up could blow their entire case.

Not to mention how it would open the door for his fan base of liars, conspiracy lunatics and nutjobs to twist it around into a political witch hunt which could have untold negative consequences down the road.

In short, it's a mine field that has to be tip-toed through as slowly and carefully as is humanly possible.

Well said and agreed. As many of the talking heads say, "we're in uncharted territory".

FWIW, the Watergate break-in was JUN72, Nixon resigned over two years later in AUG74. In that case, Republicans visited Nixon and said he'd be impeached and probably lose if he didn't resign. An actual impeachment, much less a criminal court case, wasn't required.

I would agree with you except it's so cut and dry. The documents were taken. twump took them. He had them when the FBI came and seized them. That would be enough to arrest anyone. Except, for some reason, twump.

Because it's political, not about a common American citizen. Trump staged a coup and he's still free. Why? Again, because it's political.

1.6 million. twump's allegedly and I mean, allegedly a billionaire. If that's true, then that's chump change to him.

As I said before fines just make crime legal for the wealthy. IIRC there was something about Bezos paying something like hundreds of thousands just to park his car somewhere he wasn't supposed to.

In Trump's case, he trades on his name. Paying a couple of million in fines may not hurt him much, but once people are disgusted by how he does business, he is done. Although he may not have the money. He has hidden his taxes for a reason.
