Trump orders our military to commit war crimes against migrants

"Treat their rocks like bullets"

:palm:

Not sure why this is surprising to you. The United States is not above that kind of escalation. And it's not just Trump. You remember when Japan took pot shots at one of our military bases with airplanes and we nuked two entire cities in retaliation?

War crimes are an American past time.

No.
Do you?

The U.S. has all sorts of transgressions to apologize for. I'm not sure WWII is on the list. I'm not devoid of concern that the U.S. is the only nation on Earth to have used nuclear weapons in War. And further that instead of using nukes on tall White people in Germany we used them on little "yellow" people in Japan.

"I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." Isoroku Yamamoto

Some accounts dispute the authenticity of this ostensible quotation.
Either way:

Don't start what you can't finish, even if Yamamoto didn't say

ref:
potshot also pot shot (pòt´shòt´) noun
A random or easy shot.

[So called because such a shot is fired by a hunter whose main purpose is to get food for the pot.]

The U.S. military will send approximately 5,000 support troops to the U.S.-Mexico border, the Pentagon announced on Monday.

The exact number could be slightly higher or lower, a Pentagon official told NPR. The official said the deployment is being done to support the Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection.

The uniformed troops are likely to be active-duty Army personnel, with perhaps some members of the Army Reserve and Marines. There are already 2,100 National Guard members deployed to the border.

You didn't answer the question; but you were able to work in the word 'likely"!! :good4u:

National guard sounds more appropriate than the army, if anyone extra is needed at all. Trump needs enemies, especially weak
ones like poor distressed migrants, much as Hitler needed the Jews. Trump fills his gas tank on hate and fear. That's the source of his power.

But it seems some people don't think that thrown rocks are any kind of threat and instead want to ignore the FACT that it's happening.

Considering the amount of money we throw into the military, one would hope a simple rock can't bypass our billion dollars worth of hardware.

Let's all cross our fingers our soldiers are not vulnerable to rock throwing.

They're thousands of U.S. military troops, in support of many more border control agents.

Are our troops not the best in the world?

And your position is their squad commanders aren't smart enough to stand their squads off at distances greater than a stone's throw?

Thrown stones are no threat to those out of range.

Then you apparently are versed well enough, in this Military hardware, that you can speak of what hardware is available to protect someone from rocks.

I'm sorry; but since you are still unable to use the quote feature properly, you're still a dumb ass. :good4u:

Unless you have no military hardware on at all then what hardware are you thinking of that would not protect one from an average sized rock thrown by an average person?

And yes, I am former military.

These people are seeking asylum. That requires screwing on a good citizenship face and shaking hands with a bureaucrat.

Sending the military is preposterous, unless you want to start shit. If that is what you want, it makes perfect sense.

sending the military is simply Trump firing up his mindlessly stupid base. Brown people at the gates, shoot them.

Did you forget that I was the one who asked YOU or are you trying to avoid speaking of your knowledge of such??
