Russian is the majority population in Donbas - and Putin has federalized that region away from Kyiv's control.
Crimea was a land grab , but considering Russia has no land access to Sevastopol and western meddling; is it all that surprising Putin would want to
shore up his access? That is a strategic/tactical must have access for Russia
Stop demonizing Putin and see him for what he is, and recognize he has legitimate interests too
East/ west relations need not be a 'zero sum' game where one side has to lose when the other wins
That's what Obama can't do, and Clinton does not want to do; all "Russian resets" aside.
Give Trump some credit for seeing this possiblity
