He has given away most of his fortune to causes all over the world. He is the world's No. 1 philanthropist.
Since Soros funded the Obama and Hillary campaigns, he is now, and has been on the SHIT-LIST of every Republican. He donated $500,000 to the Biden Campaign in 2020. And he donated 128 million to the Democrat party for their Mid-term 2022 election. AND SO YES THEY ARE PISSED.
His name has turned into a Conspiracy Theory itself, and the Republicans blame him for all of their political losses here in the US over the last 3 elections.
For instance, back in 2009 Soros donated $35 million to the state of New York to be earmarked for underprivileged children and given to parents who had benefit cards at the rate of $200 per child aged 3 through 17, with no limit as to the number of children that qualified. An additional $140 million was put into the fund by the state of New York from money they had received from the 2009 federal recovery act. THIS is what they are referring to accusing Soros of funding the DA handling the Trump case- WHEN THAT IS TOTALLY A BUNCH OF BULLSHIT OF COURSE.

It will be difficult for the Dems to say he is a criminal if a New York grand jury will no indict him. They only need twelve out of 16 jurors to say he committed a crime. The DA only presents his evidence and the Defense does not get to present anything. If the DA can't get 12/16 to agree with him he must not have a case. Remember the DOJ and the FEC both declined to prosecute Trump on FEC violations. This is a nothing burger
