Wait. In another thread you said it was a rape trial. So... Seems like with that kind of nonsense being repeated by an honest to gawd attorney from the Great State of FloridaMan, it seems that you should be saying he was acquitted of that "charge" in this "rape trial".

P.S. I am not a lawyer, and I did not refer to the trial as a rape trial. Probably Jarod, but I don't want to speak for someone else. Here is the bottom line. Trump was found by a jury of his peers to have committed sexual assault and then lied about it. If you want to defend him because the rape allegation wasn't proven with a preponderance of evidence, you go for that. It's like defending a serial killer because he was found not guilty on one of his alleged murders. Please, proceed.

Juries like to see DNA evidence for rape. trump withheld his DNA for years, so the judge did not allow any discussion of same during trial. In the 11th hour he offered to supply his DNA, knowing it was just another stalling tactic.
This trial was about monetary gain, so it doesn't matter what the jury thought about rape. They know he's a serial sexual assaulter, so the defamation case stood. He had no grounds to make the claims he did about his victim.
