One of the great things about Trump 2.0 is that he no longer seems to care about all the noise. Instead, he is focused on big picture strategic planning and execution. You might call it a second term mindset, but it’s much more than that. It comes from having been literally shot, facing the combined force of the government and intelligence services trying to remove him and bar him from running, enduring attempts by the government to bankrupt him, watching his allies imprisoned while fraudulent prosecutors tried to lock him up, and having his first term derailed by ridiculously fake Russian agent allegations. At some point, you stop caring about the distractions and just get on with the important work. That is exactly what is happening now, and it is glorious.
