Yeah, it was a win for America and humanity, but there are so many poorly informed voters that they are too easily swayed by sensational headlines and their support is tentative.
Since we now have a president making the tough decisions for the good of the country in the long run, that doesn't translate into continued weekly support.
Counter that with a right wing extremist media bent on tearing everything Biden does to shreds and it is making it difficult to pass needed legislation for the good of the people.
It is amazing that Trump lost, even though he never did one thing for the country, because he literally spent all his time micromanaging his image and campaigning 24-7.
It is amazing that someone so devoted to gaining support lost so much support.
If Trump had simply been the great leader he claimed to be, and done a good job of the pandemic response, he might have won a second term.

People don't respond to a positive message about what can be done.
It doesn't motivate them as much as fear and hatred, the main reasons Trump voters vote.
Gotta find a good way to get positive messages across.

Better education in public schools.
Teach the importance of a well-informed and actively engaged populace to a functioning democracy.
Obviously if everyone just depends on others to mind the country, the country is not minded properly. Especially if those others who are active are poorly informed and motivated by hatred and misinformation.

It is the clueless people like you that amaze me. There were plenty of things about Trump that I disliked but biden is a one man disaster and the things I listed did not happen under his watch. Trump ever offered to help states that were under siege during the george floyd riots but the democrat asshats that ran them prefered to let them burn and be looted.
You talk about love for your country and I gag. It is individuals like you that want to transform and change America's founding principles. Years ago immigrants came to this country and wanted to adapt to the American way of life.
