Trump Left the Justice Dept. No Choice

It is hard to overstate the gravity of the criminal indictment issued against Donald Trump late Thursday by a federal grand jury. For the first time, a former president has been charged with violating federal laws, laws that he swore to uphold just over six years ago.

It is the first time a former leader of the executive branch has been charged with obstructing the very agencies he led, and the first time a former commander in chief has been charged with endangering national security by violating the Espionage Act.

"One of the documents involved a potential attack on another country, which The New York Times has reported was Iran. “Isn’t it amazing?” he asked one visitor, brandishing the document. During that conversation Mr. Trump acknowledged that he knew the document was “a secret,” the indictment said.

Had trump just returned the documents when asked instead of lying and obstructing, he would have been fine. Pence and Biden didn't even argue.

This was a self-inflicted wound. trump just cannot stop being an evil, traitorous little bitch-boy.

I think Trump wanted to be prosecuted.

And why does the GOP support this traitor?

No, he's a stubborn, self-righteous little bitch who's never been held to account in a way that's really hurt him. He thought he'd get away with it, or that his knuckle-dragging supporters would run cover for him and attack our institutions (which is happening). trump's always held his own self-interest over that of America.

Can't argue with that, yes.

Some are, but many are not. Some, on the other hand are being wishy-washy. Christie is speaking out against trump's document activities, whackos in congress are screaming that it's a double standard, Pence is trying to "thread the needle" by admitting "no one is above the law" but criticizing the DOJ for indicting trump.

Speaker McCarthy is all in on Trump. I found that despicable.

This is the Democrats using the DOJ and FBI as political tools. This is about stopping Trump from running for president. The Democrats are doing great harm to their party with this Trump hate
