Trump lawyers quit classified documents case

Two lawyers who represented Donald Trump in the months before the former president was indicted on federal charges over his handling of classified documents quit working for him Friday morning.

The attorneys, Jim Trusty and John Rowley, did not explain in detail why they had resigned, other than to say that "this is a logical moment" to do so given his indictment Thursday in U.S. District Court in Miami.

Trusty and Rowley also said they will no longer represent Trump in a pending federal criminal probe into his efforts to overturn his loss in the 2020 election to President Joe Biden. Trusty had made multiple appearances on television news shows Thursday evening and Friday morning to discuss the indictment of Trump.

Any competent lawyer wants nothing to do with representing him in a trial. He would be impossible.

Well, given the fact that Trump showed some of the Defense Department Top Secrets to someone that had no security clearance to view them- leaves nothing left to be said about Donald Trump's innocence- as what he did was indefensible now at this point.

There is not a reputable lawyer in the world, voluntarily going to take on such a clear-cut case of guilt.

Only a court appointed lawyer would take on such a case- because he had to.

And both of these attorneys were really making fools out of themselves last night on Fox News by even discussing this case- before even seeing the indictment summary! And of course all of the Idiot Republican congressman and presidential candidates that ran their mouths about this being an attack on our democracy and using the Justice Department as a weapon BULLSHIT.

We have hung people before for what Trump has done now.

TRUMP IS TOAST!

Trump will go down in history as a traitor now by trying to sell our military secrets!

I was watching MSNBC when the Indictment was released, so I have no link as of yet.

Katy Tur read the indictment summary off of her cellphone on the air!

And everybody basically fell out of their chairs.

I mean, we have hung people for less that what Donnie was caught doing now.

And there is just no way possible for Trump to defend his actions on this.
