You can go issue by issue and only focus on one Republicans and the GOP mostly lead on that were the foundation of America and Magats, and Trump hate and insult almost 100% of them and want they changed. The good news is that Trump is in severe decline, both health-wise and mentally. The Epstein Files issue is weighing heavily on him although it's unclear why. As one pundit put it, he's trying to put out a fire in his party that he started. He fanned the flames of conspiracy theories and now the MAGA house is on fire. Weird! LOL
It is going to be a weird year going towards the election. It is hard to predict how bad things will get, but I doubt it will be the golden era the alt right claims.
After the election, it will probably get even weirder.

Agreed on your first two points but not sure about the third. The trend indicates a Republican shellacking in the Midterms, bolstered both by disgruntled voters and Trump's dividing Republicans.
I suspect the Democrats, once back in control of the House, and possibly the Senate, will push for several impeachments in the Executive branch. There might be enough Republicans to support such measures as Trump's policies continue to weaken and divide America.
I agree about the trend, but I think it will turn soon, and be a much worse election for the Republicans than the current trend says. If things are going so badly for the Republicans when the overall economy is not that bad, imagine how badly it will be for them when the forces sheltering them from their mistakes falls apart.
When Democrats have some control over Congress, they can start investigating trump, and then things get even worse for the party of trump. It is going to be wild.

Although the stock market is doing okay, Middle America is having problems with rising costs and less jobs. Trump's hiding the numbers by firing competent people researching them only makes things look worse than they are since Middle America is learning they can't trust Trump's claims.
The Great Recession ended in June 2009, a little over a year after it began, but Middle America didn't "feel" the recovery until 3 years later. This was one reason why Obama almost lost the 2012 election. Americans want results, not promises. So far, Trump has only produced promises, not results that can be felt by Middle Americans.
