Sure, the world will always change. Always has and always will. But you're arguing around the premise of demographics is destiny. That premise is based on demographics the Republican Party will die out and Democrats will dominate. I mean, sure, it's technically possible. But it also ignores that the parties and voting patterns & coalitions change over time. So the argument has been made as far back as the '70's and it has yet to come to fruition. Doesn't stop Guno from posting about it on a daily basis however.

Well the argument that the RNC will die out is just wrong. However, the argument that the RNC will be forced to change is not only true, it's proven. Bush won reelection because he used gay marriage to scare people into voting for him. Today that would never work and no Republican would dare try it. This is because enough Silenters and Boomers have died out, that we don't have a strong voting bloc of homophobes anymore.
I'm sure during the seventies, the conversation was about how the Republicans are being forced to accept Catholics.

That's the argument I disagree with. And keep in mind, Guno is just a trolly boi, so his threads don't count.
What I'm hoping for is that America ends up like Europe. In most European countries, the Right has been forced to accept so many liberal policies, that the only difference between the Right and the Left is their stances on Globalism. Which makes the European Right kinda awesome. It's basically Leftism with Nationalism.
Unfortunately, that's starting to change, with far-right parties gaining votes, but hopefully that will end when people realize there is no migrant crisis.

The RNC is dying by its own hand; it's imploding.
That said, while a party may die like the Whigs, the differences between Right and Left will not. It's been a fundamental disagreement since our nation's founding regardless of the party name.

I know, I was referring to how during the seventies, the Right hated Catholics. But because America has always been moving to the Left, they were forced to accept Catholics. Eventually the same thing will happen with Muslims and transgender people.

Light Socialism especially & even sometimes Medium Socialism are better for economic growth than extreme Capitalism or extreme Socialism.
I have many such examples.
Japan used Light Socislism in the Japanese economic miracle after WW2 achieved the #1 economic growth period in the 20th century.
Spain in the Spanish miracle used Light Socialism to achieve the #2 economic growth period in the 20th century.
FDR used light Socialism & achieved the #1 economic growth period in 20th century America.
LBJ achieved the fastest economic growth since FDR with social programs.
Hitler who I despise for obvious reasons.
Even so Nazis achieved faster economic growth using Medium Socialism than FDR.
China today is another example.
Using medium Socialism since the 1990s tp achieve perhaps the biggest economic miracle in history.
