There weren't many old people in Occupy Wall Street. Lots of young people. Those people have not gone away. They are still out there, still pissed at the system which they believe to be rigged against them.
Trump and his acolytes are facing a demographic time bomb, and the more he does to alienate everyone except his base, the worse it will get for everyone. The United States is governed today by a generation of politicians who are at the end of their careers and reflect a political era that is drawing to a close. In them, we are seeing the last gasps of 1950s America, as the baby boomers come to the end of an era in which they were the political majority and in control of industry.

1950s & 60s were America at its best.
2020 is monstrous.
Unemployment & a stock market perhaps worse than the Great Depression.
100 - 200 thousand might die from Covid-19 in just the USA.
Thats considered a better scenario.
Political instability at its worse.
Likely riots & chaos that make Charlottesville look like childs play whether or not Trump wins or loses.
Trump could pull an Orban & refuse to leave.
Iran war almost happened in January.
Could still loom on the horizon.
A ton of closed restaurants, stores & everything else.
Shortages of toilet paper & bottled water.
Breadlines a mile long.
You got to be kidding about the 60s being worse than 2020.
