How is that for "populism"? How about actually being elected, rather than assuming power as an unelected despot in violation of the will of the people? Trump is not my president, and I will never recognize him as such. He is an evil usurper. The people will overthrow him and his evil.

Much of the opposition against Trump came from his own side.

I just read where Trump met with Jim Brown and Ray Lewis about the problems in urban areas and they seemed to think fairly highly of the Trumpster.

It seems Trump's campaign overtures to the black community weren't empty rhetoric.

If, if, he follows through as president and makes serious inroads with them, this could be really bad news for the democrats.

Trump is the new JFK? The only thing I can see they have in common is that each grabbed pussies. Don't think JFK ever stiffed any contractors, filed bankruptcy many times or created a fake university for personal gain.

Do blacks care more about the racial make up of Trumps cabinet or results? Do liberals care more about indentity politics than results?

Yes. It's one of the reasons they're not fit to govern.

But if Trump makes headway into the black community in his first term, it's a game changer. Furthermore, I get the sense he's quite aware of it.

You and the MSM would do well to stop underestimating him.

Trump is a con man & a clown. I'm sorry you can't see it. I'm sorry millions can't see it.

As I've said, the main division in America is between those who easily see through his act, and those who inexplicably can't. And sorry again, but when his cabinet looks like Paul Ryan's staff, people notice.
 
And I'd add, Trump took a hard right turn w/ the cabinet picks. Since he lost the popular vote, I don't think that was part of his "mandate."

Don't think people aren't noticing that, as well.
