He’s not “cleared” in this case. He’s already lost the fraud case. This trial is to determine damages.

He might as well tear it up as it will be worthless.

BUt not just his NYS business as it is very unlikely that ANY of his businesses in any jurisdiction survive this pending bankruptcy liquidation.

Trump maximizes leverage on all his companies across all jurisdictions by cross collateralizing them all. One of the things Banks demand in those instances, is notification of ANY change in the collateral value that is meaningful. So simply by NYS exposing Trump has WAY over inflated assets, and his outside accountants and inside staff accountants now all admitting that, Trump was already in trouble with his other banks, outside NYS.

And when all of Trump's NYS assets along with any outside NYS, that Trump put up as collateral are given to the bankruptcy Trustee to liquidate, and they only get cents on the dollar, as is the norm in bankruptcy sales, it will DESTROY Trumps collateral base on any surviving businesses outside NYS, and those banks will move to liquidate them.

NYS royally fucks Trump in ways that go well beyond NYS, and as i see it only a Saudi or Russian bailout (they provide collateral to bank to not foreclose) can save him.
 
Terrible day in Court for Trump yesterday as Zurich insurance took the stand to outline some of the Insurance Fraud charges Trump has already been guilty of.

They were able to demonstrate the clearly fraudulent statements and written submissions made by Trump org in getting required insurance for his banking facilities.

The TrumpDerps here, have shown they only watch right wing derp news sources as they (PmP and others) had no clue Insurance Fraud, and not just banking fraud , was what Trump Org has been found guilty of.

And to Derps tempted to say 'he paid all his premiums... thus no victim... thus no crime', understand that cements you into Derp stupidity. Lying on legal forms to get Insurance you otherwise would not get, is not ok as long as you make all the premium payments. You've already committed fraud before you even make the first payment.

Yes he is going to be forced to sit there, and listen to over 100 questions, phrased the way he hates, asked of him, while he is going to want to answer with his usual bullshit, lies and spin, and be forced to bite his tongue and plead the 5th.

If you saw how much it frustrated him, during the depositions to plead the 5th hundreds of times and not answer, it was classic and enjoyable. This will be even worse for him.

Hopefully Lettisha herself takes the role of the lawyer asking him the questions as her getting in his face, while he has to say nothing but 'I take the 5th' will be must see TV.
