It turned into an OK European rose garden... No longer a unique American rose garden. Soon it will be a substandard paved over patio.

We used to have a unique historical American rose garden. By August, we will have a block of cement with some generic European roses around it... And drainage creating a swamp next to it.

From what i'm seeing it does not look substandard at all... Very nice actually.... It's not completed yet is it?
So your judgement is premature... The old garden was very nice but unpractical... I'm sure that beautiful flowers will be a part of the landscape...
