So....why does the cult keep falling for this stuff?
Let's not forget some of the other things Trump promised would be solved "easily":
- He said America will overcome racism "very quickly and very easily."
- COVID was going to disappear, like a miracle.
- He was going to replace Obamacare, quickly and easily, with something "terrific." More affordable, that the gov't would pay for, and provide everyone w/ better care.
- Oh, hey - he can also end the Ukraine conflict "in 24 hours."
- Mexico was going to pay for the wall - ALL of it (they didn't).
- He'd eliminate the national debt, easily (it got bigger)
Anyone see a pattern here?
Trump is a snake oil salesman - and a really good one.
