Trump Humiliated in the ‘Most Powerless Image Ever’ of a U.S. President

Felonious is a germaphobe, supposedly, I think it’s hilarious he allows a child to wipe his buggers on his desk.
I wonder if that will be allowed going forward. Felonious doesn’t spend much time with his own grands or children, why he let’s Mush’s kid in there is shocking. It makes me laugh. I know how much Donald hates it.
You just had to look at the expression on trump's face to see how much he hated what was going on.

I bet trump loved it when the kid deposited the contents of his nose on the Resolute desk.

"Elon Musk humiliated President Donald Trump during Tuesday’s joint press conference in the Oval Office, which left Trump looking like the “most powerless” U.S. president ever caught on camera, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell said on The Last Word.

During a press conference in the Oval Office in which they claimed—without providing a single piece of evidence—to have uncovered billions of dollars of government waste and fraud, Musk spoke 3,666 words to Trump’s 2,487, O’Donnell said.

Musk brought his 4-year-old son X to the press conference, wore a T-shirt and baseball cap, and even interrupted Trump.

He stood over Trump while the president sat behind the Resolute Desk, “delivering a picture of presidential subservience the likes of which we have never seen—the most powerless image of a president of the United States ever created by a camera,” O’Donnell said.

Trump, he continued, has always craved the attention of the “truly rich, virtually all of whom ignored Donald Trump as phony rich and vulgar rich.”

Now he has the attention of the world’s richest man, who can literally bail him out of the $82.5 million he currently owes writer E. Jean Carroll, who successfully sued Trump for defamation, and the $500 million judgment levied against him in a civil fraud case in New York."

Why is Elon Musk holding press briefings in the Oval Office?

An even bigger question on people’s minds — one that user @tizzyent pointed out after Shea Jordan Smith already raised it on Twitter — is this: Why is Elon Musk holding a press conference from the Oval Office? Isn’t that something only the President of the United States does?

The 'you need to go away' (not 'leave') is pretty clear. It does seem that he says 'you're not the president'. The clip in your link is pretty good quality.

He needs Musk’s money. Otherwise, he’d never tolerate him. I wonder how long he’ll tolerate it though or if Musk will grow bored with it. They are both low attention span individuals.

I laughed at Felonious’ facial expressions during his press conference with Modi, he kept looking at the ceiling, totally bored till his name is mentioned.

I stopped watching all news, but for years I've been pretty disappointed in O'Donnell. That man probably has more insight into the workings of Congress than anyone else on television. His tenure on Moynihan's staff was invaluable to him when he was a writer on West Wing.

Still...he opts for sensationalism instead of just delivering the facts. His affect doesn't appeal to me, even if his copy might.

I realize that he's trolling trump on a nightly basis, and he's been referring to him as a 'buffoon, idiot, incompetent, stupid', etc. since the '16 election. All true, and all meant to get under trump's skin...who will pretend he isn't glued to the t.v. during the segment.

Still, I prefer someone to stare into the camera and give me the bullet points. Maddow is worse, because despite being one of the best interviewers in the business...her open is so redundant I stopped watching years ago.

I have a hunch that "Trump humiliated" will become a recurring theme in the next few years....
Musk will last only until he has finished changing code in various agencies in order to give trump full, private control of the govt.. One of the teens on DOGE was mistakenly given access to change code in the Treasury Dept's payment system. Thankfully, it wasn't for long and he supposedly never realized it.

Clearly you didn't watch it, but you got your orders on how to spin any criticism. lol You could have just admitted that X was being a bored, active 4-year old who didn't belong at this occasion.

"The Oval Office generally maintains a rather formal air. But when Elon Musk's 4-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii (known as X), waltzed in on Feb. 11, he made himself right at home.

As Musk greeted the press and talked about the new Department of Government Efficiency, X had a field day making monster noises, sticking his fingers in his dad's ears, plopping himself on the floor and picking his nose while leaning over the Resolute Desk...

An X user named @sisisimon wrote to Grimes: "Lil X was very polite today! You raised him well. He was so cute when he told DJT 'Please forgive me, I need to pee.'"

At one point, Musk put X on his shoulders. Looking bored, X ran one hand through his dad's hair while sticking the fingers of his other hand in his father's ear.

"I thought my son might enjoy this," Musk laughed nervously, "but he's sticking his fingers in my ears and stuff. So it's been hard to hear sometimes. Hey! Stop that!"

Remember Giuliani's son when Rudy the Drunk was inaugurated?
