"The governments of the G7 are America’s closest partners and allies. But from Canada, Trump has arrived in Singapore to meet North Korea’s Kim Jung Un. It is a good guess that he will show himself much more respectful and conciliatory to this dictatorial adversary than to America’s democratic friends—by now, that’s a familiar pattern of Trump behavior."

"Trump is recovering from two weeks of criticism that he went soft on the Chinese tech giant ZTE. The president’s opponents suggested that his decision had been swayed by a state-owned Chinese company’s $500 million investment in an Indonesian project that had licensed Trump’s name."

"Rule-of-law democracies cannot deliver the emoluments Trump collects from more authoritarian regimes. They cannot expedite Ivanka Trump’s trademarks to gain favor. They don’t book their national-day celebrations in Washington’s Trump International Hotel."

If you had any doubt why Trump disses America's traditional allies in favor of the world's dictators the answer is simple, it is all about how it benefits him and the Trump name. What he can "deal" with an authoritarian government is a whole lot greater than having to negotiate with a democracy whose Government is answerable to its' citizens

Plain an simple, all the "making America greater" and the "how to make a deal" is all rhetoric, it all comes back to how it benefits the Trumps, just "draining the swamp" by the hour

Another massive pile of whiny malarkey from the pathetic lying liberal left. I ran a fact check on this bullshit and found nothing connected to the truth.

What I did find was this......

Sounds like lefties are worried that Trump will accomplish something good with N Korea.

So, it's bad for Trump to focus on what benefits the U.S.
But, it's OK for Trudeau to focus on what benefits Canada.
Hypocrites.

No, something good would be great.

Glad to see that you are conscious of the problem we are having where the left wants Trump to fail even more than they want to see America succeed.

Regardless of what Trump accomplishes in N Korea, the lefty media will sort though all of it and extract anything, everything, and any possible angle that puts Trump in a negative light, and won't report anything else other than that.

I am left leaning. I want America to succeed, but I still think Trump is a moron.

There were no facts in that pile of bile Archie....you wouldn't know what a fact looks like.

I'll paste the hyperbolic bullshit here so you can recognize it next time:

It is a good guess that he will show himself much more respectful and conciliatory to this dictatorial adversary than to America’s democratic friends

The president’s opponents suggested that his decision had been swayed by a state-owned Chinese company’s $500 million investment in an Indonesian project that had licensed Trump’s name.

Rule-of-law democracies cannot deliver the emoluments Trump collects from more authoritarian regimes.

If you had any doubt why Trump disses America's traditional allies in favor of the world's dictators the answer is simple, it is all about how it benefits him and the Trump name.

all the "making America greater" and the "how to make a deal" is all rhetoric

The BIGGEST pile of bile: "Trump Goes to War Against the Democracies"

There are no facts in the above; just hyperbolic bullshit and partisan opinions. Grow a brain Archie. :rofl2:

"Rule-of-law democracies cannot deliver the emoluments Trump collects from more authoritarian regimes. They cannot expedite Ivanka Trump’s trademarks to gain favor.
expeditied horsecrap
there was no evidence of expediting - the trademarks were defensive anyways
Anyone still talking about the emoluments clause was stupid then and dumber now

I expect that this new environment, coupled with the new one at the G7 meeting, is going to cause our dementia-afflicted president to falter even more than he did in Canada. Brace yourselves for repetitious speech using simple grade school language that indicates that you're not the boss of me, belligerence because he knows he's WAAAAY out of his league, hovering attendants trying to make the angry toddler look leaderly,

There will be no recordings of this meeting, that could result in some interesting comments afterwards by both leaders.
