Trump endorsements continue to pour in

Oh I saw this. Trump knows exactly what he's saying. He knew what he said in the past and he knew what he has saying (or not saying) on Sunday.

How many times does he have to disavow Duke lol? Has Obama ever disavowed Farrakhan or just equivocated about it?

Absolutely. He knows who David Duke is, he knows what the white supremacist movement is. Just ridiculous how he tried to play the whole cat-who-ate-the-canary routine to pander to his base.

Trump was on record disavowing Duke prior to the interview. And I'll wager the interviewer knew but was going to go fishing anyway. Trump doesn't need the far right fringe---there's no reason for him to not disavow Duke and he has.

Trump didn't say I've disavowed him in the past. He tried to claim he didn't know who he was. Why lie about it? We all know the answer, he doesn't want to alienate that portion of people who will vote for him.

Again, why shouldn't a Republican jump at the opportunity to speak out against a racist hate group that for so long was associated with the Democratic Party?

Historically the KKK has been partnered with the Democratic Party. The Democrats elected an ex-Klansman as Senator in Robert Byrd.

If Trump claims to be a Republican there's no excuse for him not to verbally shoot down Duke and his endorsement. Doesn't matter what Obama did with Farrakhan. When people claim Trump has crossover appeal to Democrats are they referring to the Klan vote?

Are you still stuck in the 1960's?

David Duke was a Republican, right?

Is it just me or is the usual double standard at work here?

Farrakhan endorses Obama in 2008---calls him a messiah no less, and one risked being called a racist for calling attention to it. I don't seem to recall Obama telling Farrakhan to crawl back under whatever racist rock he came out from under---if anyone even bothered to approach him about it! But when Trump is insufficiently repulsed by David Dukes endorsement it's a different thing altogether. Of the several problems I have with Trump, that he might be a closet Klansman isn't one of them.

Knowing Trump, he probably realized he was being baited by the media and refused to play. And that, is one of the things I do like about him: He won't cower in front of the media.

You mean like how Obama pandering to his racist base, when back in 2008 Farrakhan endorsed him.

OH-WAIT, I forgot.
That didn't matter; because they're not White.

And right on cue come the usual choruses of "well they did it too..."

ROFL!

John Bachtell, chairman of the National Committee of the Communist Party USA, said in a lengthy essay for “People’s World” that America needed a third political party committed to uphold labor — but until that time comes, communists ought to work with Democrats, especially in the coming elections.

I wonder what Hillary or Bernie Sanders would say about being endorsed by the Communists Party of the USA.....

They've been endorsing Democrats for decades, yet no one mentions it all.....

LOL

Poor bravs. It's actually embarrassing that you see any kind of equivalency here...

The David Duke bloc lol? Get serious.

Again with the double standard. Trump refused to run on the Reform Party ticket in 2000 because Duke was on it. The interviewer should have known this and probably did. It's like Republicans have to wake up every morning and disavow racists or they are pandering to them.

Again, Trump and any Republican should be glad to be asked those questions. And Trump lied about not knowing who Duke was. He could have turned the question on the reporter and said I've disavowed him before and gone after the reporter but he didn't. He choose to lie. And he did it purposefully because a portion of his support does come from David Duke types. Not all KKK members but people who's believes aren't all that far off.

Are you saying that the Communist Party is the moral equivalent of the KKK?

Gee; there sure are a whole lot of people, who JUST KNOW what Trump needs to do

But you seem to have no problem with Hillary's pandering or pretty much any liberal.

Trump can do whatever the hell he wants. I'm speaking as a Republican. Many Republicans rightfully point out the Democrats and their history with the KKK. Kind of lose the high ground making that argument if you're afraid to speak out against David Duke.

Isn't that like someone on JPP ignoring another poster and when someone else asks about the other poster, the first one goes "WHO??".
