He was a dock worker, and they had parked in the spot that was reserved for the large riverboat. He asked them several times to move. And they attacked him for the trouble.

It did look like alcohol played a role. Alcohol and temper tantrums do not mix or end well!

The man showing out for his family may have got some of them in trouble as well.

If alcohol was found on their boat, they are looking at other charges tacked on. BAD DAY!

Just heard the presser from the police chief. The black guy was the 1st mate on the tour boat, not a security guard. They evidently waited for up to 45 minutes for that asshole to get his boat out of the tour boat's designated mooring, enduring insults and obscene gestures. The 1st mate was ferried ashore where he confronted said asshole, and the fight ensued. According to the chief, the FBI (fucking bureau of investigation) has been called in, which means hate crime, of course, and it might be warranted here (also might take a few G-men off Trump's back for a few days).
