Trump and "Trumpism" really is about--to a large extent--gaining personal power and keeping it. It isn't so much about intruding on other's lives or into social and economic norms. So long as a "Trumper" has power they're happy and will generally leave others alone so long as they get to exercise that power for self enrichment. Sort of the 'Robber Baron' model.
On the other extreme are the Karens, Woke, and the like. These people want power too, and just as badly as the Trumpers. The difference is they aren't interested so much in self enrichment from it as they are in exercising it over YOU. They want to upend society, the economy, and remake it in their image. They aren't happy unless they get to use big, intrusive, government power to run every aspect of your life.
Sure, the Trumpers get rich and powerful but unprovoked they don't seek to ruin or control your life. The extremists on the Left, like AOC as but one example also want to get rich and powerful but they also seek to ruin and control your life in minute detail.
It is the Left that's truly dangerous. Sure, nobody wants the Trump model either, but it's a far sight better than having everything you do put under a microscope and being told what you can and cannot do as if you were five years old with zero freedom in your life. That's what the Left wants for you.

He means that winning office, for him, need not mean being elected to it, but merely attaining it, even by coup if that’s what it takes.
That’s not hyperbole, or mere opinion. It’s not simply a hunch or a worry. It’s a fact, verified by his shocking and unprecedented actions and statements following his Nov. 3, 2020, defeat.
It’s inherent in his blatantly false claims that ballots two years ago were lost, stolen or fraudulently cast. It’s documented in his attempt to obstruct Congress in certifying his election loss by calling on his vice president to break the law, and by summoning his own supporters to Washington to march on the Capitol to thwart the ceremonial count.
It’s clear by his rapt attention to the televised deadly invasion of the Capitol after his speech whipping up the mob, and his failure, for more than three hours, to call on the insurrectionists to stand down.
