Trump dodges questions on prices despite claiming he would bring them down on ‘day one’ in office

Donald Trump did not offer any concrete policy proposals or timeline on his campaign promise to immediately halt inflation and bring down the price of “everything” during his latest Fox News interview.

The nonspecific answers came in the interview recorded last week but broadcast in full on Monday on Fox News, where anchor Bret Baier asked the president, “If all goes to plan, when do you think families will be able to feel prices going down—groceries, energy—or are you kind of saying to them, ‘Hang on, inflation may get worse until it gets better’?”

It's funny how Democrats never noticed the high prices of the last four years until just three weeks ago.........

and now they demand that it IMMEDIATELY be fixed after spending four years pretending that the issue didn't exist.

Democrats noticed high prices, but knew that inflation was global and inevitable after the pandemic.

No one is demanding that Trump immediately fix it. But he said he would on DAY 1. And he said this repeatedly. Should we not listen to him?

Trump was the one who promised to lower the prices. :dunno:

Classic snake oil salesman.

How does anyone not see through this guy at this point?
Most do, GOP is too scared of Musk, and Trump is the the Red Hat Club’s savior, their vehicle for their grievance populism, no matter how much he lies or fucks up the country, it doesn’t matter, without him, they’d have no one

Inflation was NOT global and it was NOT inevitable after the plannedemic.
No one is demanding that Trump immediately fix it.
Many liberals are demanding it; even yourself.
But he said he would on DAY 1. And he said this repeatedly. Should we not listen to him?
He took executive action on Day 1, as promised. There's no magic wand to wave to make prices instantly decrease; tangible results take time.

None of this is correct.

I would call you completely defeated when this is all you have.
