There was speculation that campaign funds were used to pay Stormy which is illegal use of campaign funds.

Cohen now says the money came from his home equity line of credit and Guilianai says Trump paid him back. But Trump says Rudy will "get his facts straight."

Who has ever paid $290,000 in taxes on $130,000 of income?

But Rudy even mentioned that if Stormy payoff was known in the last debate, and Hillary hammered it, Trump would have been hurt. There is no argument about the campaign donation. There is a very similar case when Edwards was running. He paid off a girl who he knocked up and he was nailed for a campaign donations violation. Trump is no different in the law, just different in the terribly slanted right wing "mind". You guys know so little and post like you actually know something. You do not. I know, the law is whatever Trump says it is.

That is not CNN and not fake news. It is a good description of what is actually in the court documents from the U. S. Federal District Court of D. C.

From the court document:

"False Statements Regarding FLYNN's Request to the Russian Ambassador that Russia Refrain from Escalating the Situation in Response to U.S. Sanctions against Russia
