Trump is not the mayor of DC. Trump does not command the Capital Police. Trying to suggest that this was Trump's doing is dishonest and moronic. Trump's team had the same credible intelligence about the possibility of violence Schumer, Pelosi and the DC mayor had. When offered the National Guard to protect the Capital, the refused due to the......wait for it......OPTICS.
This isn't about Trump. This is about DC Mayor's incompetence and Pelosi lunacy. Nothing more. Trying to infer that this was planned and carried out by Trump is infantile stupidity and dishonest partisan hackery.
Calling what happened an insurrection or coup is dishonest and stupid. It didn't come close to meeting the definition or being what Democrats claim. Engaging in a public politicized hearing is childish and stupid and does NOTHING to bring this nation together. I am thinking there was a conspiracy that day, a conspiracy inspired by Democrats and Pelosi to allow things to get out of control on purpose by NOT heeding the intelligence so that they could try a FORTH impeachment of this President because of their hatred of this country and this man simply because he was beating them.
Perhaps after the massive defeat in November sending these Democrats into the political wilderness, Republicans will be able to get the truth and to the bottom of this.
