Trump defends ‘a great general’ who fought against the U.S.: Robert E. Lee

Lee was one of America's best generals, and a fine gentleman. You libs couldn't hold a candle to the man.

80% of tweets are sent by only 10% of the users. It's a bunch of bots & trolls. That's why I don't pay attention to any rants or
what they think is news. I will look online to see what specific well-known contributors might have to say though because
I don't have any social media accounts and never will.
 
IMO Lee sucked as a general. He is famous for lots of improbable victories where he lost almost as many men as his opponent when the military reality was the north had men to burn which meant his victories were meaningless.

Joseph Johnston was the best general of both sides.

What Trump should have said from the start is there were evil people on both sides.
Washington Post reporter Joe Heim was a first hand witness who says counter protestor such as Antifa were swing sticks, punching and spraying chemicals while others threw balloons filled with paint or ink.
Antifa got the result they wanted when they initiated the confrontation.
 
He was a great general. But he lost. He surrendered. He was a traitor. And trump is doing this to foment more division. What an asshole scoundrel.
